Once you have the machine filled with water, it will take approximately 4-minutes for the water to be heated. During the heating period the red light next to ‘HEATING’ on the LED Control Center will become illuminated. Once the water is heated, the red light will turn off and the Small Mug Button will flash. Press the Small Mug Button to start a cleansing brew. Pour the hot water into the sink.
The Brewer, on the Keurig Platinum B70 may take 15 seconds to reheat water between brews during which time the red light next to ‘HEATING’ on the LED Control Center may be illuminated. When the water has heated, the red light will turn off. The one-time set-up process is now complete and you are ready to brew! The Keurig Platinum B70, is the top of the line Home Brewing System and the one you want in your home.
There has been a little problem that has been coming up on this site about the Keurig Coffee Makers ( and by the way, it is not exclusive to Keurig. it happens to all coffee makers.) for a little while now and I would like to address it.
The problem has been water flow decreasing over time. When you ask for 9.25 ounces of coffee and you only get half of it. this is from mineral and coffee build up over a period of time.
Quick fix: In the k Cup holder area you have on 4 ports fluid going in and fluid coming out. take a small paper clip and poke the holes and clear out the junk that is restricting the flow. you might have to take the holder apart but it is easy and the hold task should only take you fifteen minutes. After you are done you should get years of enjoyment from your Keurig. Take the old one know and move it to the office or up to camp and get your new Keurig Platinum B70 home brewing system for the home!
