of you are probably familiar with the Keurig Home Brewing Systems in one form or another (B40/50, B60 and B70) and their patented K-Cups that have become all the rage, the last couple of years. Well now they have the new Keurig-Vue V700 single cup coffee maker.
But I love my old Keurig, why would I want to go and change something that works great and makes me an awesome cup of coffee? Well that is a legitimate question. Let’s take a look at all the benefits and features of Keurig’s newest system and see what kind of goody’s it has for us.

Most What we are hearing:
Trying to be as unbiased as I can, there are a couple of complaints, about this new home brewing system.
First, there is NO BLUE LIGHT. I know I am not the only one that is going to miss the blue light.
Another complaint that I have heard, from more than one user, the reservoir light will come on when it still has a 1/8-1/4 of the tank full and asks for water to be added. It seems to be a bug that Keurig knows about and is working on.
Another issue, some have mentioned is the noise when it is in brew mode. It is no noisier than the other models. In our opinion the 45 seconds it takes to make an outstanding coffee beverage, the noise is minimal at best and less noisy then listening to an automatic drip coffee maker, gurgling and spitting out water.
The good things we are hearing:
The taste of the coffee does taste fresher in the new Vue packs. No, I am not kidding, it really does. I am also a lover of strong coffee, so to be able to brew my individual brew a little stronger than other members of the family is a huge plus for those of us with that kind of a palate.
There are currently 30 different varieties of coffee and beverages in the V-Cups and you are able to brew a full bodied coffee even in the large 18oz cup size.
The Vue V700, is a great looking machine a little shorter than the Platinum model, making it easier to store and place under the cabinets and still be able to handle the large travel mugs!
Bottom line we love the new Keurig Vue V700, it has a fresh, unique design that brews a great cup of coffee. We will be glad when there are more varieties of coffee and other beverages but the quality of the coffee and the ability to make stronger coffee with a variety of cup sizes is huge plus in our view.
